Effective data governance is essential for organizations because it ensures data availability, quality, and relevance. This course provides an overview of the necessary components for managing a data governance program to allow for the development of a Data Governance Roadmap. By the end of this course, students will be able to: 1. Identify a successful data governance program. 2. Explain the ethical considerations in managing the organizations data assets. 3. Implement the appropriate funding model to develop and support a data governance program. 4. Implement an effective communication approach for all business sponsors to obtain and maintain their support of the program

Guido is a senior Information Technology leader with over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, distinguished by a combination of deep technical expertise and executive leadership. He has led the design and implementation of enterprise scale technology architectures and application solutions aligned to the business needs, serving in roles including Developer, Senior Manager, Information Architect, and Director.
He has extensive experience across both legacy and modern cloud-based platforms, with strong expertise in data engineering, real-time analytics, and AI-enabled data ecosystems. He has a solid understanding of data and technology governance frameworks, ensuring that solutions are not only innovative, but also sustainable, compliant, and scalable.
Guido is aware of the challenges faced by today’s organizations and is enthusiastic in sharing his experience and knowledge to better prepare our next generation of technology and business leaders with the analytical, technical, and strategic capabilities needed to succeed in today’s data-driven economy.
