Aging is inevitable. Do you have any of the visible signs of aging – gray hair, wrinkles, memory issues, cognitive decline, changes to the senses – vision and hearing, diseases associated with aging? Aging is the process of growing older, sadly a process of both physical and mental decline. Your lifespan and health span are influenced by genetic, behavioural, lifestyle, and environmental factors. We live in a culture that stigmatizes aging. Ageist attitudes are the most challenging for women, but the gap is narrowing. People who don’t “act” their age, are equally criticized. We can’t live forever, but what if we could live healthier longer? In the words of Bob Dylan “may you stay forever young.”
