iCalJoin Donna Thomson and the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence to discuss how to improve the future of caregiving
Canada needs a National Caregiving Strategy to support caregivers across the country meaningfully. A successful strategy must reflect the experiences and priorities of caregivers with lived experience.
As a member of the Caregiving Essentials Webinar Series community, you are cordially invited to attend a special strategy consultation session with the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence. This 90-minute online meeting is an opportunity for caregivers like you to share ideas and recommendations to create a brighter future of care.
As always, Donna Thomson will host the session with her colleagues from the CCCE, but space is limited to the first 200 registrants and will be run as a meeting, not in the usual webinar format.
During this session, you will also hear about:
- Some of the biggest challenges faced by caregivers across Canada
- How a National Caregiver Strategy can improve the experiences of all those who give care
Attendees will be asked to share their recommendations for policy solutions to improve caregiver experiences navigating the healthcare system, accessing social and community care supports, creating caregiver-friendly workplaces and address issues faced by paid care providers.
If you cannot attend and would like to share your ideas, visit the CCCE’s National Caregiving Strategy webpage to complete their public consultation engagement form.
We look forward to creating a brighter future of care together!
