McMaster Continuing Education offers a new program on health and wellness coaching
Health and wellness have become top of mind for many Canadians, increasing the demand for health and wellness coaches. McMaster Continuing Education has launched a new Health and Wellness Coaching program to address the need for more coaches.

Health and wellness have become top of mind for many Canadians, increasing the demand for health and wellness coaches. This Fall, McMaster Continuing Education will launch its new Health and Wellness Coaching program to address the need for more coaches. This online program teaches individuals the coaching skills and techniques necessary to motivate and empower others to shift their mindset and adopt positive habits and behaviours for making beneficial and lasting lifestyle changes.
The Health and Wellness Coaching program combines foundational knowledge with practical training that provide students a holistic skillset as they enter this rapidly growing field. “This program not only helps the student advance in their career path but enables them to graduate with the ability to ignite positive change in others,” says Lorraine Carter, Director of McMaster Continuing Education.
This new program is ideal for anyone looking to enter or upskill in the field of Health and Wellness Coaching. Students are required to complete eight out of nine courses to receive a Diploma in Health and Wellness Coaching. “McMaster Continuing Education is extremely proud to launch this program that will empower coaches to develop healthy living strategies for and with people,” says Lorraine Carter, Director of McMaster Continuing Education.
