iCalBegin a transformative journey to mental wellness
It’s ok not to be ok. Not every day is going to be a great day and not every project will go according to plan. Sometimes, just being present is all we can do, and that is enough. But not everyone realizes that – in fact, an average 38% of working Canadians will hide mental health challenges from their employer.
Join mental health advocate, financial services executive and McMaster Continuing Education instructor Elizabeth Wood as she discusses how to create a safe space in the workplace, for yourself and others, provides insights into how mental health challenges can present unique difficulties in the workplace, and what can be done to overcome them.
Join us on Tuesday, October 10 from 12 – 1 p.m. ET as we explore:
- Statistics around mental health/illness
- Recognizing mental health challenges in yourself and others
- Communicating about mental health
- Creating a safe place at home and in your workplace
Many of us need a little help when it comes to our mental health. Discover support tools and resources available to you.
