In this course, there is an in-depth focus on required knowledge and skills in HTML and CSS so that students will feel comfortable in their website development work. Students will learn and apply industry-recognized techniques to make a visually appealing, functional, and interactive website.

Born and raised in a southern Albertan farming community, Lisa Graham is a woman of boundless interests. Lisa is twice alumni at the University of Calgary, holding a BSc in software engineering and an MSc in biomedical engineering. Lisa’s master’s research delved into the captivating intersection of human-computer interaction within community health programs.
Outside of academia, Lisa has built YYC Beeswax, a thriving venture that melds her passion for sustainability with entrepreneurial spirit. Music, an eternal love, finds a special place in her life as well. Lisa teaches privately and performs with The Shillelaghs, a local Celtic punk band, and the Calgary Chamber Flutes among other musical projects. Lisa also teach yoga in Calgary and online.
Curiosity fuels Lisa’s journey, often leading her on numerous adventures around the world where she can capture fresh insights on life and work. Lisa is dedicated to uniting arts and sciences, infusing every endeavor with a blend of creative flair and analytical depth.
