Pre-requisite: Medical Terminology, Anatomy/Physiology, Pathophysiology I & II, Health Information Management I The course examines how the health information professional develops an understanding of how biomedical concepts and models change, and this affects the manner in which information is collected, analyzed, stored and shared among health care professionals. Incorporating learning from the pathophysiology, anatomy and medical terminology, students will examine the connections between clinical information, documented health records, and clinical decision-making.
