If you are looking for work or for a better job in Canada, this course is for you. In Canada, looking for employment and workplace expectations are sometimes quite different than many other countries and cultures. Understanding and trusting the job hunting process will lead you a more successful outcome. This course will increase your odds in finding employment in Canada. You will learn where the jobs are in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA), the skills employers are looking for, assess your human or soft skills, learn the language of cognitive diversity, and develop your personal brand. You will receive a list of potential employers in the GTHA and learn to analyze job posting. Cultural fluency topics such as the hidden job market, employability skills, and networking will be discussed in order to give you a competitive edge when looking for employment.
