In this course, students will learn about the purpose of back-end development and how servers, databases and the code that makes them drive web applications. Students will be given opportunities to apply their knowledge through case study scenarios which will enable development of their knowledge of the complex structure of a website. Students will also examine current development systems like Amazon Web Services and e-commerce sites to better understand how their systems align with the future of website development.

Noam is the Co-Founder & COO at Morpheus.Network, a full-service, global, automated supply chain platform utilizing breakthrough technologies. Noam has played a pivotal role in developing and scaling Morpheus.Network into a global leader in supply chain technology. As COO, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations, including hiring, business development, marketing and developing and implementing the product roadmap and strategy.
Noam has extensive entrepreneurial experience building and growing companies. He founded CleanForest.co, a full-service web development agency with clients including multinational financial corporations, banks, law firms, hotels, hospitals, startups, and nonprofit organizations.
Noam is a Professor at George Brown College and an Instructor at McMaster University, teaching Software Development and Blockchain courses. He also is a Governing Board Member of the Ethereum OASIS Project and volunteers as a judge/mentor at various startup events.
He helped establish the Crypto Defenders Alliance, a coalition of exchanges, blockchain projects and cybersecurity organizations dedicated to stopping stolen digital asset fraud and theft through deep industry collaboration, best practices, and open-source software.
