Ryan Hamilton has been working in the finance and accounting industry for the last decade, having positions within banking, corporate finance, accounting, and taxation. He has also been working in post-secondary for the last five years, developing and instructing business courses, with a specific focus on personal finance, accounting, and strategy. He is also very passionate about eLearning and online course delivery.
Ryan strongly believes in making education as accessible as possible and integrates Open-Source materials in all his courses. He understands that learning is not a linear process for every student, and enjoys working with learners to find the best course of instruction that will work for them. The use of integrated case studies and real-world scenarios are just some of the ways that Ryan brings relevant materials into the (virtual) classroom.
Ryan holds his BBA (Accounting), and an MBA (Organizational Leadership). He is also a current Doctoral Researcher working towards his DBA (Educational Leadership).
Outside of the classroom, Ryan loves to travel, spend time with his family and volunteer with local social welfare organizations.
