John Costantino brings more than 35 years of senior leadership experience in finance, operations and risk management across the financial services sector. His professional career includes a distinguished 25-year tenure at Sun Life Financial, as well as senior financial roles with Toronto-Dominion Bank and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
Mr. Costantino currently serves as a Board member of the Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton, and the Halton Children’s Aid Society, where he contributes expertise in financial oversight, risk governance, and strategic decision-making.
He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and holds the Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation. An active CPA mentor, Mr. Costantino supports the development of future professionals through competency-based guidance and the promotion of strong ethical standards. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administrative Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University.
Thomas Hammell has been in the risk management industry for over 17 years serving in some of Canada’s largest multinational organisations, from energy to utilities, and currently as risk management director for one of Canada’s top general contractors. He specializes in complex risk management solutions, including enterprise risk management, loss control and site inspections, commercial insurance and project insurance placements, establishing third party credit default management programs and insurance, and providing comprehensive risk analysis.
He holds a masters of business administration, is a fellow chartered insurance professional, a certified risk manager, and holds masters certificates in business performance leadership and risk management, and environmental and social governance. Thomas has been an instructor for 7 years, teaching risk management and insurance at the Insurance Institute and higher education institutions.
