Michael Michalski is a member of the teaching staff in the McMaster University/Mohawk College Bachelor of Technology Program (BTECH) where he teaches Human Resources Management and Organizational Behaviour. He has over 30 years of experience in the fields of Finance and Human Resources Management. Michael holds an M.B.A. in Human Resources Management and a B.A. in Economics, both from McMaster University. He has taught courses at McMaster since 1993.

Sonia Montoni is a devoted CA and CPA who is passionate about entrepreneurship, finance, and education. Her career showcases versatility and adaptability. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and an MBA from Queen’s University. Sonia began her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 16 by launching her first business. Some of her most notable achievements include scaling a company from the ground up to over $100 million in sales, transforming a low-performing division within a multinational organization into the top-performing team, winning the President’s Award, managing over $1 billion in operating revenue, and securing commercial financing for more than $200 million under favourable terms and conditions.
As a professor, Sonia is dedicated to inspiring the next generation by sharing the knowledge and insights she has gained throughout her career. She strongly believes in the transformative power of education to change lives, a conviction that underlines her commitment to her students. Sonia is committed to paying it forward and empowering others to achieve their goals through empathy and support.
