Ty Abraham
Ty Abraham is joining McMaster Continuing Education as an experienced online educator in business administration. His career spans developing and instructing business courses for colleges and universities across Canada, as well as helping companies maximize their resources to achieve organizational goals.
Throughout his teaching career, Ty has engaged with hundreds of adult learners, with the majority of courses in the area of management and leadership. Ty is passionate about online learning and is always excited to introduce creative teaching strategies to boost student engagement and learning.
Ty possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, and a Master of Organizational Management (M.Org.M.) degree.
Ty’s goal is to provide you with relevant information to enhance your business knowledge on your journey to becoming a skilled professional.
Amna Khaliq
Amna Khaliq has a Doctor of Business Administration in Strategic Leadership from the University of California Southern, USA. She has an MBA from Cape Breton University in Community Economic Development in Canada. She has a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors from the University of Windsor, Canada. Along with her degrees, she has a Women Leadership Development Certificate from the University of Oxford, England, an Adult Education Learning Diploma from Vancouver Community College, Canada, and an E-learning Certificate from the University of Toronto, Canada. She has taught more than 28 business management courses in online and face-to-face settings at the third, fourth and pre-MBA levels. Her research interest involves economic development, online education, and strategic leadership. She has presented and published her research at many national and international conferences. She is a vice president and board member of the Dawson Creek Literacy Society and a board member of the CBU Alumni Association. Amna Khaliq focuses on practical application in online learning, developing soft business skills and intensive research through her teaching.
Jeff May
Jeff May holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from Laurentian University and a Master of Education from Nipissing University. As owner of The May Development Group, he has provided large organizations with professional development consulting, management and leadership development, and succession planning since 1996. Some of his clients include Agricorp, Guelph Hydro, Ontario Ministry of Transportation, Wilfred Laurier University, and many more. In addition to his successful career, Jeff has also taught and/or designed in person and online courses for many Canadian and international schools. Jeff has taught at CCE since 2011.
