Instructors
Andrea Vorwerk
Andrea is a Senior Human Resources Leader and Business Partner with over 20 years of experience in consulting, designing, implementing and communicating HR and Total Rewards programs. She has worked in diverse industries with executive leaders and employees to develop and implement effective total reward strategies.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University (Glendon College) and a post-graduate certificate in Gerontology from Laurentian University. Andrea is a long-standing member of the Human Resources Professional Association and holds both the CHRP and CHRL professional designations.
Rebecca Wilkinson-mitchell
Rebecca Wilkinson is a certified HR leader and professional (CHRL and CHRP) passionate about continuous learning, performance management, and employee development. A believer in authentic leadership, value-added behaviours, and high levels of productivity, Rebecca excels at challenges, creative problem solving, and customer service in the strategic HR function. Rebecca has an MA Ed., Adult Education from Central Michigan University, completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources at McMaster Continuing Education and Seneca College after receiving her BA, History from University of Waterloo.
With more than 20 years’ experience in Human Resources, Rebecca has developed a career in a variety of leadership and strategic total rewards roles in the International Chemicals, IT/Healthcare, Small Business Economic Development, and Automotive industries. An experienced public speaker, Rebecca has been teaching future human resources professionals throughout the Ontario College system since 2012.
Rebecca is an active volunteer with the Human Resources Professional Association, Theatre Sarnia, Royal Canadian Air Cadets, and is the current Board chair for the Inn of the Good Shepherd, the main foodbank and shelter system in Lambton County. When Rebecca is not active at work or in the community, you will find her exploring her interests as a passionate cook, an avid knitter, travel enthusiast, amateur film critic, and parent.
