Katherine Ford
Dr. Katherine Ford is an instructor in the Nutrition, Health, and Wellness program at McMaster University. She utilizes her experience as Dietitian to bring a clinical perspective to her teaching and research. She is interested in better understanding the impact of nutritional assessment and interventions on patient-oriented outcomes and how to spread and scale effective nutrition interventions.
Katherine holds a Master’s of Science in Nutrition from the University of Saskatchewan and a PhD in Nutrition and Metabolism from the University of Alberta. She is a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Health System Impact Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Waterloo and holds a Mitacs Elevate Fellowship in conjunction with the Canadian Nutrition Society. During her fellowship, Katherine is supporting the Canadian Malnutrition Taskforce with integrating a malnutrition care standard in Canadian hospitals.
Meghan McGee
Dr. Meghan McGee is an instructor in the Nutrition, Health, and Wellness program at McMaster University. Her expertise covers different lifestyle aspects of nutrition, obesity, and wellbeing. This includes healthy eating, physical activity, sleep, and breastfeeding. She is a talented science communicator and also works as a freelance journalist reporting on nutrition research.
Meghan obtained a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Toronto and is a research collaborator at the Hospital for Sick Children and Sinai Health.
