This course will introduce students to project management. It will explain the business benefits of providing rigorous structure to ensure the successful completion of work. Work in this sense can include a wide range of activities and initiatives, including product and service launches, creating efficiencies, and enhancing services. In addition to learning about the importance of the project manager's role, students will learn to develop a framework for building a project plan, including strategies for effectively engaging stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of the plan in practice.

Rehan Sher is a seasoned Human Resources and Project Management Professional with over 20 years of experience. In January 2014, he became the Founder & CEO of the Human Resources and Project Management Corporation (or HRPM Corp. for short), a global firm specialized in providing Corporate Training & Consulting Services. Since its inception, HRPM Corp. has assisted hundreds of professionals, both locally and internationally. In addition, to his professional work experience, Rehan develops and teaches synchronous and asynchronous courses to Post-Graduate Students at leading institutions across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Rehan has an Honours BA in Economics from the University of Toronto, an MA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, and a MASc in Management Science from the University of Waterloo. He also has a Master’s Certificate in Learning & Development from Schulich’s Executive Education Centre and holds both the PMP & CHRL Professional Licenses.
