Instructors
Eugenia Bouras
Jenny Bouras has a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Physiology from McGill University. In addition, she holds a Master of Management and Professional Accounting (MMPA) from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Concordia University. She holds both CPA and CRHA titles (Chartered Professional Accountant and Conseillère en Resources Humaines Agréés respectively). Most recently, Jenny has completed her second Master degree in Education at the University of Ottawa.
Jenny has been teaching at the CEGEP and University level (McGill, Concordia, UQAM) since 2012. Her areas of expertise are accounting, human resources, business communication and she gives workshops on soft-skills training and job search techniques. She has experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and academic abilities to help them reach their potential. Recently, she worked on the program revision for the Applied Accounting and Administration Program (AAA) in the Continuing Education department at John Abbott College.
Professionally, Jenny has worked in public companies, private companies, not-for-profit organizations and government entities.
Jennifer Frost
Jennifer A. Frost has over 13 years experience in adult higher education and over 20 years experience in business communications. Jennifer is currently a Educational Technology Training and Support Specialist at Sheridan College. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Business in Information Systems, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Master of Educational Technology (MET) with an emphasis in Adult Education. Jennifer has been teaching at McMaster CCE since 2016
Elizabeth Wood
Elizabeth is a solutions-oriented leader with expertise in organizational design, change management, policy development and implementation, and regulatory oversight and governance. Throughout her career she has been instrumental in driving innovation and operational excellence, focusing on achieving gender parity and championing women in leadership. In recognition of her trailblazing industry contributions as Chief Compliance Officer and EVP of CMI Financial Group Inc, she was recognized among Canada’s top 50 executive leaders as a recipient of the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business Best Executive Awards and named to the CMP Mortgage Global 100 in 2023. She was the recipient of the Woman of Distiction accolade at the 2021 Canadian Mortgages Award and was twice recognized as a Canadian Mortgage Professional Woman of Influence (2019 & 2022).
She has earned an MBA, a Bachelor of Commerce in Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in Securities Law. Elizabeth holds several industry-leading certifications, and considers her self a lifetime learner. Since 2019, her passion for education and dedication to eliminating barriers to learning drives her in her role as instructor and course content developer with the McMaster University CE’s Business and Marketing programs.
Elizabeth is a dedicated mental health advocate and Co-Chair of the Canadian Lender’s Association’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion roundtable where she advocates for advancement and empowerment of marginalized groups in the financial services sector. She is also a lifelong volunteer, currently serving terms as a Canadian Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (CNETS) board member and Treasurer of the board of directors of CIM Chartered Managers Canada.
