Christine Costa is a seasoned Human Resources professional, Organizational Development consultant and facilitator with over 25 years of experience in various roles and industries (including financial services, technology, and higher education). She holds an MBA from McMaster University and is passionate about learning and development. She has spent her career coaching leaders and teams to help them reach their full potential. Christine is currently an entrepreneur and owner of “Christine Connects”, a professional training and facilitation practice that helps people create connections with their teams, themselves, and their environment. Christine is an advocate for lifelong learning. She is currently pursuing a certificate of Psychology through Toronto Metropolitan University and has been an educator/teacher at the post-secondary and high school levels for over 10 years. She is currently an instructor with McMaster Continuing Education (in Human Resources and Essentials professional development) and a facilitator with Mohawk College Enterprise. Paul Maher is a continuing education instructor in the Human Resources Management program. Paul has over twenty-five (25) years experience within HR Management, Recruitment, Training & Performance Management across military, post-secondary and manufacturing environments. He has been teaching at the post-secondary level since 2006, and with McMaster since 2008. Paul is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), holds a Bachelor of Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University, an HR Management Diploma from Sheridan College, a Strategic Human Resources Leadership certificate from Cornell University, as well as a Master of Education (Post Secondary Studies) from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Paul also holds a Post-Secondary Instructor’s Certificate from the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador. Hailing from Newfoundland & Labrador, Paul is an ex-Reservist with the Canadian Armed Forces, and in his spare time likes to stay active, travel, cook, and spend time with friends and family.
Romesh Morales is an accomplished and enthusiastic professional with a diverse educational background. He holds a Master’s in Public Administration, Policy, and Law from York University, a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology, and a Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management. Additionally, he has post-graduate certifications in Management, Employment & Labour Law, among other disciplines.
As a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), Romesh brings over 15 years of experience in various sectors. His expertise spans critical areas such as Employee Relations, Labour Law, HR Compliance, Policy, People Analytics, and Talent Management.
Romesh’s journey through various HR roles has uniquely positioned him to understand the intricacies of the dynamic HR landscape. Currently, he serves as the Director of HR Compliance and Reporting at CAA Club Group of Companies (CCG), where he oversees several areas within the HR function.
Driven by a passion for data, research, and the sciences, Romesh is deeply interested in academic research and continuing education. His focus areas include Labour Market Trends and Policy, HR Analytics and Metrics, Workplace Relations, and Conflict. Meagan Pilo is a Human Capital Management Specialist and Organizational Development Practitioner who is passionate about people and learning. Throughout her career, she has worked in various streams of HR, such as thought leadership, employee relations, performance optimization, wellness programs, succession planning and talent management.
As a naturally strong communicator and facilitator, she has developed and delivered courses and workshops to enhance engagement and provide ongoing learning opportunities to leaders at all levels. She has worked in such industries as consulting/advising, construction and engineering, academia and life sciences. Her firm belief that people are the most important asset in any company has led her to pursue a career focused on enriching the entire employee lifecycle experience – from hire to retire.
She holds an Honours Bachelor Degree from McMaster University and a Masters Degree in Education from York University. She has certifications in many psychometric platforms, including Myers Briggs (MBTI), Personality Dimensions, Thomas International (DISC), Predictive Index and Coactive Coaching. She is an active member of the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA).
In addition to spending quality time with her family, Meagan is also an avid reader and writer who enjoys yoga, mindfulness and the natural environment. As a McMaster graduate, she is thrilled to be teaching at her alma mater.

For over 25 years, he’s worked across Canada and internationally in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Project Management, and Change Management — partnering with industries as diverse as manufacturing, IT consulting, healthcare, telecommunications, transportation, retail, utilities, education, and banking.
